The Girl

Excerpt from Book 2-Silent Whispers

I eventually saw a nonphysical teenage girl with long, dark and thick hair.

“What do you want?” she asked me.

“We want to help you.”

“No one can. They come after me. Why do you call me here?” She said in an accusatory tone.

“So, we can help you.”

She reminded me of kids I’ve worked with while I was a teacher. Many times, youth want help, but act as if they do not. It usually comes from fear. I simply learned to not react.

She indicated that she’s afraid to cross over.

“Are there others here?”

She nodded yes.

“Where are they?”

“Behind the tree.”
